Your tasks:

• Advising individual business units on communication matters

• Writing and editing texts for all kinds of internal communications (newsletters, emails, intranet, Q&As, interviews, briefings, postings, etc.)

• Developing and implementing new internal communication formats (e.g., podcasts, etc.)

• Managing external service providers (monitoring, writing, agencies, photographers, video, etc.)

• Soliciting quotes and planning costs for communication projects or initiatives

• Writing speeches for internal audiences

• Supporting and preparing topics for town halls and internal events

• Event moderation

• Potentially providing coverage for colleagues in press communications

Your profile:

• Completed degree in natural sciences, humanities, or communication sciences/journalism – alternatively, a corresponding traineeship

• Professional experience in public relations, editorial work, event communication, content development, or corporate communications in a corporate/university or agency setting

• Interest in higher education policy issues

• Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills are desirable

• Strong communication skills, especially in an international, diverse environment, as well as a high degree of teamwork and service orientation

• Structured, self-reliant work style and strong conceptual skills

• Proficient in all Office applications
